Welcome! This group was created to give our local Valley Nose Work/Scent Work group a safe place to PLAY until we can get back together in person to practice with our dogs. We will post a weekly (maybe more often) Practice Exercise to work on at home – feel free to post videos of your dogs and ask/answer any questions.
I’m posting a brief nose work video just to test the new group settings. This should be a PSD Speed Search (Baxter) from last year or the year before. Fingers crossed. 👍🏼
Baxter is giving us a demo of HIS final-response behavior (what he does to communicate to me that he is at source). In this case, it was a timed search … we only had 45 seconds to find TWO hides. Can you tell (before I call alert) when Baxter says “It’s right here!”?
